Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Point of Sale Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, implementing, and supporting point-of-sale (POS) hardware and software systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network configuration, POS system integration, SDLC participation, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assist clients with network setup, operational troubleshooting, and live technical support.
– Conduct installations, repairs, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance of POS systems and technology equipment.
– Manage patch updates, software distribution, data analytics automation, and system health checks.
– Support POS software and hardware lifecycle – from requirements gathering to deployment.
– Collaborate on SDLC process design and software development alongside company leadership.
– Develop and maintain conceptual and physical network architecture and cloud connectivity.
– Create intuitive front-end POS interfaces and enable real-time sales data synchronization.
– Analyze and resolve client requests for retail system changes and enhancements.
– Lead root cause analysis for production issues with the DBA team.
– Conduct testing, interpret results, and offer tier-2 help desk support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
